Fitch McGraw

Owner - Head Instructor

Fitch McGraw is a local avid surfer. He has been surfing for over 18 years and did so competitively for 8. He has been working in the surf industry for years and has been teaching surfing for over 8 years. He has just graduated from UCF with a bachelors in international business and a minor in Spanish. His passion in life has been teaching, for most of his professional life he has taught his favorite sports to pass his knowledge on. Fitch was born and raised in St. Augustine. He believes this is one of the best places to learn to surf due to its consistent smaller swell, soft sandy breaks and the ability to find higher caliber waves when swells permit. Allowing surfers of all skills to have fun and catch their first wave.

Cooper McGraw

Instructor

Cooper has been surfing St. Augustine’s beaches with his family since he was five years old. An avid surfer in the community, Cooper is on the surf team at his university in South Florida in the off season. He is currently studying Engineering and is always trying to find time to get out and surf. Additionally, He is also an avid traveler and enjoys visiting Nicaragua with his family to surf and eat the great food. Cooper’s familiarity with the local waters and beaches makes him an excellent instructor to those just starting out. With over four years of experience instructing surf camps, Cooper says his favorite part about teaching someone to ride a wave is seeing the smile on their face, after getting up on a board for the first time. He considers St. Augustine one of the greatest places to learn to surf because of the friendly surfing community.
